Caroline/Kendall:
Kendall falling off a pool floatie and nearly killing himself at his mother’s wedding of all places was some crazy work. Would really love to read anything about Caroline sexually abusing Kendall as a young child, the ways it contributed to the uneasiness and distance in their relationship as we see it on the show. What did the abuse involve? How did it came to be? How do the two of them relate to the memory of it, if at all?

Maybe young Caroline struggling with motherhood, which she has largely delegated to nannies, and having especially a hard time bonding with Kendall, thus trying to establish some sort of connection, claim some power or ownership over him. Maybe Kendall initially glad about the physical closeness, turning to Caroline for comfort when he’s sad, growing conditioned to see sex as a currency to get cuddles—or straight out refusing/protesting the abuse. Maybe him as a kid attempting to verbalize it and being ignored, or if someone like a nanny or a teacher points out there is something off, they’re brushed off, silenced, and kicked out of their job. Alternatively, Kendall not telling anybody about the abuse because he’s simply too young to understand, doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with it, or because the fear of being abandoned by his mother looms over him constantly.

I’m all for graphic depictions and am open to it going to very dark places. It doesn’t need to be completely bleak though! I like sweet things too and would be happy to see Kendall and Caroline share soft or fun moments and memories. He’s her sweet boy after all.

Marianne &/ Kendall:
Yup, they don’t interact onscreen, I know. Just something about the thought of YZY being hurt is so special to me but in a "she's one of my favourites" way, not in a hater/bashing way.

Solo YZY being hurt is fine, I'm okay with H/NC. If JFM is there though, I would love for him to realize and/or actually show her he cares about her and comforting/protecting her afterwards. And for YZY to show a softer vulnerable side to JFM. I want a healthier relationship for the two of them, as JFM sees the softer side to her that does care for him, and she sees he doesn't hate her. They don't have to be perfect but I want a healthier and happier relationship than in canon.
